Chile has resorted to copper nanoparticles and the metal's proven antiseptic quality, which kills bacteria, viruses and fungi, in order to deal with the worldwide shortage of face masks in the fight against corona virus.

Chile, the world's largest copper producer, places it bets on said metal's antiseptic properties, which effectively kill bacteria, viruses and fungi, in order to face the global scarcity of face masks that arises from the Coronavirus epidemic. Thus, two Chilean companies have developed face mask styles featuring added copper nanoparticles.
